The Big Reveal

The Big Reveal Center stage Event organized by Fuzzy Logix at Cognizance 2016, annual technical festival of Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. 1.

This is a Facebook-based team event with maximum of 3 members per team, however
there is no restriction either on number of teams or on number of entries per team.
2. Each team will choose a team leader and a team name and one or more topics.
3. Evaluation will be of each post/entry and not by topic.
4. The number of likes on your Facebook post takes you to second stage, the quality of
your conten

t will take you to the final round and your presentation will decide the final
winners.
5. Any inappropriate post will be disregarded and the participant disqualified.
6. The decision of the judges shall be final and binding.

Updates for the presentations:
1. The duration of the presentation should be 7-8 minutes.
2. There will be a small question answer round by the judges.
3. One question from the audience will also be accepted.
4. The whole team has to take part in giving the presentation.
5. You may use slides during your presentation or even explain your solution verbally.
6. It is not mandatory to show the algorithm.
7. More focus should be on conceptual clarity and robustness of solution.

Attention Registered Teams:
Start posting you entries on the this page as soon as possible. The evaluation parameters for the FIRST round will be ONLY number of 'likes' on your post. However great the content, post it at the last moment before the deadline and have very less number of like, then your post may not be even selected for content evaluation. Detailed Rules for the Online Round(Stage- I):
1. This is team event with maximum of 3 members per team, however there is no restriction either on number of teams or on number of entries per team.
2. Each Member needs to register on the website( http://cognizance.org.in/ ). This will generate a unique Cogni id, after email verification.
3. The Team Leader needs to login into the website through his/her username and password.
4. The ‘‘Big Reveal” event, under the theme events page, has the tab ‘Register’ to register the team for the event (http://cognizance.org.in/events/centerstage/FuzzyLogix ).
5. Enter the Cogni id of team leader and other members of the team.
6. This will generate your Team Id and a mail shall be sent to the mail id of team leader regarding the registration.
7. Go through the problem statement given on the event page.

8.Choose any topic(s) from the provided list. For the chosen topic(s), publish your post(s) on this page as a wall post.
9. Your post must contain the following hashtags #, , and team-id.
10. The post can be a maximum of 300 words, excluding the hashtags. Your post may include a maximum of 3 pictures or graphs.
11. To increase the likes on your Facebook post, you can share the link to your post in other social media channels, like Linkedin, Twitter, blogs, websites, etc. However, only the likes on your Facebook post will be counted.
12. Ensure that the people who like your post also like the main Cognizance page (https://www.facebook.com/cogni.iitr/)
13. At the end, you will have to submit a screenshot of your post indicating the number of likes that your post garnered and also a screenshot of the main Cognizance page indicating how many of your friends like that page.
14. This first round (based on number of likes) will close on 16th March, 2016 23:59 IST.
15. The results will be declared on the Fuzzy Logix page(www.facebook.com/FuzzyLogixLLC) .
