Miguel Ángel "Mike" Bezos wrote a cheque to fund a garage startup of his son Jeff. That company is Amazon today! As the 'Angel' in his name suggests, Miguel reminds us that the first angel investment often comes from home - in the form of belief, encouragement, and quiet backing. A parent's faith can be the earliest and most powerful catalyst, long before any cheque is written or headlines are made.

Was wonderful to spend time over two days with Mike Bezos, Clair Munana, fellow Aspen Institute USA trustees, in Segovia, Spain as we discussed Leadership for Humanity's Next Chapter - growing a worldwide community of leaders who use their creativity, energy, and resources to tackle the foremost challenges of our times. Very critical to build the right values in today’s youth who will lead in the future.
Mike’s $200M endowment to set up the Center for Rising Generations at Aspen, was the inspiration for us to set up the Navani Rising Generations Fellowship (NRGF) at Ananta Aspen in India, the country with the largest Rising Generation in the world. Two batches of NRGF (Omega) for the 14–18-year-olds have been successfully completed. Getting ready to launch NRGF (Alpha) for 19–24-year-olds soon.

A lively opening to the India Gaming Show 2026 at the Chennai Trade Centre, led by Shri Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Transport, Youth and Sports, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

In addition to the inaugural address to welcome the Hon’ble Minister, alongside Mr B Thiagarajan, Mr Sean (Hyunil) Sohn, Mr Biren Ghose and other industry drivers, had a future looking chat with Mr Raghav Anand, Partner and Leader – Media & Entertainment, EY-Parthenon on the emerging trends in Video Games and Esports.

The session culminated in the release of a white paper and the signing of three MoUs with the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies - a meaningful step toward building stronger capabilities and partnerships for the future of the industry.
