My first drawing was of Ariel from The Little Mermaid and I think I was about 5 years old. I created my first handmade card when I was 7 years old. Since then, I’ve not stopped expanding my horizons! My best friend and I came up with the name “PratikshArt” that consists of two separate words - Pratiksha, my middle name, and Art. In 2015, after I left my job to take care of my mother, I started che
cking out videos on how to quill. I was very fascinated by the beauty and the technique of this art. So, I went ahead and taught myself to make quilled cards. Little did I know that friends of mine would order cards from me in bulk! I also had the opportunity to make Christmas cards for a Christian organisation who wanted to share the Gospel to the members of the Parliament through these cards. Seeing the opportunities that God was giving me, I decided to pray and explore what this could mean. And hence, PratikshArt was born. Fast-forward to present day, I now not only make quilled cards but also have started designing inspirational quotes and Bible verse and selling them as framed wall decor. My aim is to share the Gospel creatively to everyone at very affordable rates. I believe that the products of PratikshArt are not just products, they’re gifts that can change someone’s life!
