Multifunction Astronomical Timer REV-303
Novatek Electro India’s Multifunction Astronomical Timer REV-303 is a microcontroller driven programmable device designed to control electrical loads—such as street lighting, heating systems, pumps, fans, and similar systems—based on precise timing and astronomical calculations without the need for external sensors or permanent maintenance.
How the REV-303 Works –
Astronomical Calculation: The REV-303 automatically determines the exact times for sunrise and sunset by using the user-provided geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude) and the current date/time. This allows the timer to switch connected devices (such as street lights) on or off in sync with changes in daylight, season, and time of year—entirely eliminating the need for external light sensors.
Programming & Modes: It supports two easily switchable control programs and four distinct operational modes:
* Astronomical: Relies on calculated sunrise/sunset times.
* Weekly: Device is controlled according to a weekly schedule.
* Daily: Device is controlled according to a daily schedule.
* Simple: Basic on/off without schedule or astronomical calculation.
Event Memory: Up to 500 independent switching events can be programmed and split between the two operating programs, enabling complex control logic.
Power Options & Longevity: It features a wide input voltage range (24–265V AC or 8–24V DC), low power consumption, and retains its clock and schedule for up to 6 years without external power.
User Interface: Controlled via four front-panel buttons and an OLED graphical display, with the facility to secure settings via PIN protection.
Relay and Output: Supports a 16A relay output (SPDT, 1NO+1NC contacts), sufficient to directly drive most lighting circuits or to control contactors for larger loads.
Other Functions: Automatic Daylight Saving Time (summer/winter) adjustments, second-level event accuracy, event logging, and relay state display.
