Ever looked around for a cool Indic keyboard for your phone and were disappointed? Well here's a chance to make it happen.
IDID team at Industrial Design Center, IIT Bombay is hosting Swarachakra hackathon on 13th-15th December to build Indic keyboards for Bengali, Telugu, Kannada, Punjabi, Malayalam, Oriya and Tamil. It is open to all students and professionals in teams of 3-4 people with design + coding experience, who write and speak the language fluently. We give you 36 hours to design and develop the keyboard and we top it off with app launch to Google play store on 15th. If you find this an exciting way to spend 3 days, leave us a message with your team details and the language you'd like to work on.
