Another college project where I had to make a delivery menu for a restaurant. Metkut restaurant was my first choice, simply because it serves very authentic Maharashtrian food and the menu covers various items from all around Maharashtra.

P.S. You should definitely try their modak.

In Branding course, we had to choose a luxury brand and make either a website, a window display or a coffee table book. I chose coffee table book because.. I honestly thought it was the easiest. But.. nope! It was as difficult as I expected it to be. Difficult and fun.

The minute we were given the brief, I knew I had to take Waman Hari Pethe as my brand for the assignment. I have known and loved the brand for a very long time so making a coffee table book was very exciting and fun!

P.S. My sister and aunt are my models!
P.P.S. The project was very very tiring.

"Who am I? The question I had my whole life
The question which I probably won’t find an answer to my whole life
If I were answerable with a few more words
Then God wouldn’t have created all these various beauties"

This art is known as Madhubani Art, originated from Madhubani district in Bihar. This ancient art dates back to era of Lord Rama.
I was given a task of creating a design of my zodiac sign (Pisces) by using any Art work or Art form. I have always been attracted to Mandala art so when I researched about it, I stumbled upon this art and instantly fell in love with it.
Being a Pisces, the main element in my design had to be fishes. After going through lot of stuff online, I finally grabbed my pencil and began drawing, keeping the basics of this artwork in my mind.
Here's the result of my Zodiac sign - Pisces in the form of Madhubani Artwork.

The brief was to make a chocolate brand from scratch. I was sure to not make a luxurious themed chocolate. After researching, I decided to do add the pop culture colors in the brand. I have always loved the vibrant and bright colors used in pop theme, plus the small designs are very eye-catching.

P.S. Bombasta word just hit me.
P.P.S. I was thinking or Burp this name.

7th February, 2020.
We were on our way to Goa and it was around 12:30 pm when we stopped at a very small village. Unfortunately there was no food arrangement here but we found a small tea shop or tapri (it's more appropriate) and decided to take a break. We all were exhausted because
a) we left Mumbai very late (morning 12 am)
b) the bus was small and hence our muscles were cramped
c) we were desperate to set foot in Goa
This tapri had this letter box. In the world of emails and text messages such a letter box felt like a relic. We asked the tapri owner about this "टपाल पेटी" but he didn't say anything except that the postman arrives every week.
Even though it's a very simple photograph, it holds tons of memories.
P.S. The tea was amazing.
P.P.S. The letter box is very cute.

For the very first post I decided to upload my very first drawing.
Swipe right and you'll see what I drew back in 7th standard. Surprisingly, the drawing's condition is good. Anyway, the point is; there is a small story behind this one.
We had a new drawing teacher back in 6th standard named Pravin sir. He was a cool person, little strict at times but overall chill. Basically he was that teacher who believed that if you want to draw a tree, sit in front of one and draw it. I liked that attitude. Hence I liked him.
During one of our classes, he asked us to draw a rectangle and seperate it with random lines, then fill the now created gaps with a variety of designs. It turned out good in the class but when I tried the same thing at home, the result was this. I was heartbroken because of what I had drawn but kept it anyway.
The next time I picked up a pen or pencil to draw for myself was after 10th standard. Not because I had an identity crisis or something but because people kept telling "दहावी येतिये, काय ठरवलयेस? Science की Commerce?" That's all I guess. Thank you for reading.

P.S. I chose Science and then changed my field to Arts.

P.P.S. I still hate that drawing.
