Knoxol Solutions goes green with the Green Initiative.
Knoxol always believes in sustainability, not only of itself and its customers but also of the environment, we at Knoxol believe that if it wasn’t for this world there would be no internet and above all our customers so to bring the awareness to our future generations and as part of our social responsibility we at Knoxol have taken up an oath to work towards a healthier environment in the little way we can.
Our contributions to the green initiative are:
Paper-Less Office: We at Knoxol believe that before deducing or recycling waste, reduce it, by making small changes like setting all printers to print on both sides and using e-mail and intranet for internal documents, the reduction is not only smart for the environment, but smart for company spending.
When we do produce printed material, we use partially recycled paper and have reduced the size and page counts of our pieces to lessen the amount of paper we need.
Better Transportation: We believe walking a little can take us a long way in our fight to save the environment; our staff would rather take the bus or car pool rather than burn those precious non-renewable fuels driving their own vehicles to work every day.
Telecommuting: What’s better than riding a bike to work? Not having to go to into the office at all. Our Employees who are given the opportunity to work from home consistently rave about its advantages, most significant is their increased time and productivity. If that’s not enough, Knoxol also considers the positive impact telecommuting could have on their ecological footprints. With fewer workers in the office, we require less office space, therefore less energy. But the greatest advantage is that with fewer cars on the road, everyone spends less time idling behind the wheel. It’s a Win – Win Situation.
Bio-degradable Material: We believe in 100% recyclable materials that can be reused when disposed and therefore we boast a plastic and EPS free office where the staff uses more environmentally friendly products and try not using paper plates; rather having non toxic, bio degradable containers to eat food in. Even our Visiting cards are made of Non toxic Bio-degradable materials such as sugar cane extract.
This some of the steps we take to, what can you as customers do to be a part of the Green Initiative:
1. Accept receipts and other documents by mail rather than on paper. Online-billing is the future.
2. If you have a net banking facilities make use of it and have a bank transfer done rather than issuing checks.
Small Steps as these can take us a long way in the sustainability of our environment.
