2. Exercise caution in opening attachments, even if the sender appears to be known

3. Beware of e-mail addresses, spelling errors in e-mails, websites and unfamiliar e-mail senders

4. Do not submit personal financial details on unfamiliar or unknown websites / links

5. Beware of e-mails, links providing special offers like Covid-19 testing, Aid, Winning prize, Rewards, Cashback offers

6. *Phishing E-mail Subject Line:* Free Covid-19 testing for all residents of DElhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Ahmedabad.

It is very important to protect our privacy and money from fraudsters. Here are few basic steps to follow for avoiding cyber fraud :
•Do not click on the direct link received in emails or messages. It could be fraud link for getting your identity information. Always visit authorised website.
•Do not share financial information to anyone over phone. Instead schedule meeting or visit bank for completing transaction.
•Keep your password safe and change it once a month. Bank will never ask for your password or PIN so do not share it with anyone.
•Keep Debit / Credit card PIN secure, never disclose it, Bank will not ask for it.
•Beware of fraud emails, never respond to these emails.
•Monitor your account statement once a week to ensure there is no illigal activity.
•In case of unauthorised activty / transaction in your account change the password and contact your bank immediately to avoid further transactions.
•Visit the nearest Cyber Crime police station to register complaints.
