The story behind: Our Logo
(PART 2)

The Brand Name: Panchtatv
The Slogan: committed to Quality

One always wonders why the name PANCHTATV for an IT Consultant Company. Why not something related to technologies, internet, software, why not some technical jargon? Why so spiritual word PANCHTATV?

You may think that the reason might be there were five founders or something. No. Not at all.
When the idea of this company was conceived by its founders, the whole ideology behind creating this company was providing Quality Solutions & Quality Services. As there were already N number of companies operating from the same location but none of them was providing quality solutions or quality services.

And they were looking for providing quality solutions and services to their clients and decided to base their ideology on “The Kano Model” that revolves around five characteristics of qualities of a product development and customer satisfaction.

As the ideology revolves around 5 Quality Characteristics hence the name “Panchtatv” which in English means 5 Elements. The ideology is focussed onto providing Quality Solutions and Quality Services hence the term “SolServ” (stands for Solutions & Services) in the name Panchtatv SolServ Private Limited. As it is clearly understood that the entire ideology was based upon the commitment to provide Quality Solutions & Services so the tagline “committed to Quality”

What is Kano Model?
It is a theory of product development and customer satisfaction developed in the 1980s by Professor Noriaki Kano, which classifies customer preferences into five categories. These categories have been translated into English using various names (delighters/exciters, satisfiers, etc.), but all refer to the original articles written by Kano.

1) Must-be Quality
These attributes are taken for granted when fulfilled but result in dissatisfaction when not fulfilled. An example of this would be a package of milk that leaks. Customers are dissatisfied when the package leaks, but when it does not leak the result is not increased customer satisfaction. Since customers expect these attributes and view them as basic, it is unlikely that they are going to tell the company about them when asked about quality attributes.

2) One-dimensional Quality
These attributes result in satisfaction when fulfilled and dissatisfaction when not fulfilled. These are attributes that are spoken and the ones in which companies compete. An example of this would be a milk package that is said to have ten percent more milk for the same price will result in customer satisfaction, but if it only contains six percent then the customer will feel misled and it will lead to dissatisfaction.

3) Attractive Quality
These attributes provide satisfaction when achieved fully, but do not cause dissatisfaction when not fulfilled. These are attributes that are not normally expected, for example, a thermometer on a package of milk showing the temperature of the milk. Since these types of attributes of quality unexpectedly delight customers, they are often unspoken.

4) Indifferent Quality
These attributes refer to aspects that are neither good nor bad, and they do not result in either customer satisfaction or customer dissatisfaction. For example, thickness of the wax coating on a milk carton. This might be key to the design and manufacturing of the carton, but consumers are not even aware of the distinction.

5) Reverse Quality
These attributes refer to a high degree of achievement resulting in dissatisfaction and to the fact that not all customers are alike. For example, some customers prefer high-tech products, while others prefer the basic model of a product and will be dissatisfied if a product has too many extra features.

({PART 1) The Colours:
BLUE
The psychological effects of the colour blue are probably universal. Almost everyone enjoys looking into a blue sky and across a lake or the sea because there is something calming about the vastness of blue. It appears to free the mind. Blue is the colour of the mind; no wonder it is such a dominant business colour.
Fashion consultants recommend wearing blue to job interviews because it symbolizes loyalty. People are more productive in blue rooms. Time and again in research, blue is the world's favourite colour.
BLACK
Black signifies power and authority, it represents knowledge and intelligence.Positively, it communicates absolute clarity, with no fine nuances.
It is the most popular colour in the fashion industry because of its association with style and it makes people wearing it look thin. Black outfits can also be overpowering, or make the wearer seem aloof or evil. It creates protective barriers, as it absorbs all the energy coming towards you, and it enshrouds the personality.
GREY
Many people think of gray as a "safe" colour, but that is not true at all! It is the colour if you want to create an air of calm, understated confidence.
For gray to have this psychological impact, its best combined with whites and other neutrals. However, heavy use of grey usually indicates a lack of confidence and fear of exposure.

Net neutrality debate: Facebook shuts down Free Basics in India.

Facebook pulled the plug on Free Basics in India, a year after its launch in the social networking giant's largest market outside the US. This follows the telecom regulator barring discriminatory pricing of data services, which included a ban on zero-rated products. "Free Basics is no longer available to people in India," a Facebook spokesperson said in an emailed statement Thursday.
After Trai's decision, Zuckerberg expressed his disappointment but said that Facebook is committed to "keep working to break down barriers to connectivity in India and around the world". Zuckerberg had to step in to control the damage caused by Facebook board member Marc Andreessen's tweet that made an unflattering reference to India's history with colonialism. The CEO took to his social networking platform to distance himself from the tweet.
"I found the comments deeply upsetting, and and they do not represent the way Facebook or I think at all," Zuckerberg said. Andreessen later apologised for his comments.

Prasad has slammed Free Basics saying such differential pricing modes are "plainly not acceptable" and Internet should not become a monopoly of few.

NEW DELHI: Telecom regulator Trai on Monday prohibited discriminatory tariffs for data services on the basis of content. The move is a big blow to Facebook's highly-controversial 'Free Basics' platform and Airtel's zero-rated platform 'Airtel Zero'.
