Unfortunately, I received the official invitation today, and with such short notice, I am unable to arrange travel and accommodation to attend the ceremony in Mumbai. It truly hurts to miss a moment.
Still, I feel incredibly grateful and humbled to be selected as one of the 75 winners among 3000+ entries in the PMVision2Art â National Poster Design Contest, organized by the Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Maharashtra.
My heartfelt thanks to the esteemed jury, whose vision and encouragement made this journey so meaningful â
Padma Shri awardees Achyut Palav (Indian calligrapher and educator), Vasudeo Kamath (internationally acclaimed Indian artist), Sudharak Olwe (Mumbai-based documentary photographer), and Prasoon Joshi (poet, writer, lyricist & CEO, McCann Worldgroup India), along with Ravi Jadhav (Indian film director, actor, screenwriter and producer), Bharat Dabholkar (Indian actor, director and writer), Gaurav Dalmia (Chairman of Dalmia Group Holdings), and Srinivasan Swamy (Executive Group Chairman of RK Swamy Ltd & President of the Advertising Agencies Association of India â AAAI).
I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to Honâble Prime Minister Narendra Modi for inspiring initiatives like this that give artists like us a platform to dream, express, and be seen.
Even though I wonât be there in person, this recognition will stay with me for a lifetime.
