How To Update Aadhar Address Online?
You can update your Aadhar address online through the UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) website. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through the process:
Visit the UIDAI Website: Go to the official UIDAI website.
Log In: Click on the ‘My Aadhar’ option on the homepage. Under ‘Update Your Aadhar’, select ‘Update Address in Your Aadhar’. You will be redirected to a login page where you need to enter your Aadhar number and the OTP sent to your registered mobile number
1.Select Address Update: After logging in, choose ‘Update Aadhar Online’ and then select ‘Address’ from the list of demographic fields to be updated
2.Upload Documents: Upload a scanned copy of a valid address proof document. The list of acceptable documents includes a passport, bank statement, utility bill, etc. Make sure the document is clear and legible
3.Submit Request: Review the details and submit your request. You will receive an Update Request Number (URN) to track the status of your update
4.Track Status: You can check the status of your update request on the UIDAI website using the URN provided.
