You will be the happiest person that day.

हमारा भारत सम्पूर्ण तरह से तब आज़ाद होगा जब हमे अपनी मातृभाषा, अपने रीत रिवाज, अपनी वेश भूषा और अपनी संस्कृति सारी दुनिया के सामने प्रदर्शित करने में शर्म न आये। जब उच्च शिक्षा पाने का मतलब डॉक्टर/इंजिनियर बनना या अच्छी अंग्रेजी आना न हो। जब इस देश का हर बच्चा अपनी मर्ज़ी की पढाई लिखाई कर पाए। जब सभी धर्म एक होकर इंसानियत की मदद से भारत के विकास का प्रयास करें। जब हर इंसान, स्वार्थी न होकर हर दुसरे इंसान की मदद को तैयार हो। जब धर्म और देशभक्ति के नाम पर खून न बहे। जब क्रिकेट के साथ दुसरे खेलों को भी सामान महत्व मिले। जब भ्रष्टाचार और बेईमानी जड़ से ख़त्म हो जाए।

It is generally believed that certain people are more gifted than the others. They have in-born talents. But in reality, everyone is gifted. Some people just never open their package!

Mahek Bhatt is one such talented girl living in Mumbai, whom I had the opportunity to meet. She is a trained classical dancer, a professional theater artist and has achieved so much in 20 years of age. Her life is very busy, packed with rehearsals and performances. Recently, she played the lead in a Gujarati play called “I luv Shah Rukh”. Apart from this, she has also been a part of many others including one musical theatrical masterpiece called “Sathvaro Shri RadheShyam no”, which had more than 50 shows all over the USA, after becoming a hit in India. Along with a full time career in acting, she has also pursued her graduation. She has also won a few awards at various acting competitions that she took part in. Sure talent helps, but hard work, perseverance and passion are essential for success. She has achieved so much and at such a young age!

Hundreds of students from all over the campus gathered at the venue when the announcement declared that Ruhan was to perform. With almost everyone at his college knowing him and wanting to be his friend, given that he has an appealing personality and a happy nature, he has come a long way. Ruhan Alam, or now RJ Ruhan is a prime-time show host at Radio Mirchi. The steps he took while coming up to this position and the hurdles he faced, is likely to inspire the younger generation into working for their passion.

Like most of the ‘ambitious’ students in India who take up engineering in order to have a respectable and high-paying job, he did the same. Also, like many other students of that age, he was unaware of his own inclination towards a different field. As soon as he realized that he was not fit for where he was, he quit engineering and entered Humanities. “That step”, he says, “was a big change in my life.”
