🚨 Important Update for Google Photos Users!

On August 10, 2026, Google Drive for desktop will stop supporting Google Photos backups.

What you need to know:

* Your existing photos are safe and will not be deleted.

* Automatic uploads from your computer folders via the Drive app will stop.

* Moving forward, you must use the Google Photos web app or PWA to back up local folders.

How to stay backed up:

1. Open google.com in your browser.

2. Select your computer folders to re-enable background syncing.

3. Keep the tab open to let your files upload!

🚨 Recycle Bin Bug Fixed! 🗑️

Microsoft just rolled out a fix for that confusing Recycle Bin glitch that started after the last update.

What went wrong:
When deleting files, the confirmation box showed cryptic, scrambled text (like $R###xx.ext) instead of the actual file names. It looked like malware, but it was just a cosmetic bug!

The Fix:
The latest Windows update (KB5099414) completely restores normal file names. Your actual data was never at risk.

What to do:
Go to Settings > Windows Update, install the latest July updates, and restart your PC

The original 2011 Microsoft Secure Boot certificates are reaching their final expiration deadlines right now.

📅 The Key Deadlines:

* June 24, 2026: Microsoft Corporation KEK CA 2011 expired.

*June 27-28, 2026: Microsoft Corporation UEFI CA 2011 expires now.

*October 19, 2026: Microsoft Windows Production PCA 2011 expires.

⚠️ What Happens If You Do Nothing?

* Your PC will still boot and function normally.

*You will lose protection against new, sophisticated boot-level malware (Bootkits).

*Your system will stop receiving critical early-boot security updates.

✅ How to Check and Fix It:

1.Open Windows Security.

2. Click Device security >Secure Boot.

3. Verify it says "Fully updated."
