Silk Stronger Than Kevlar? New Breakthrough!

Scientists have created a *fused silk material* that’s **stronger than Kevlar** and still as flexible as natural silk.
This new bio‑engineered fiber could change everything — from **bulletproof armor** to **medical implants**, **tendons**, and even **wearable tech**.

The secret?
The material starts with commercially available silk moth cocoon fibers used in textile manufacturing. Researchers first removed sericin, the sticky coating around the fibers, using a mild sodium carbonate solution. The fibers were then aligned and hot-pressed under carefully controlled temperatures and pressures.

During heating, the more mobile parts of the silk protein structure softened enough to bond neighboring fibers together while preserving the crystalline regions responsible for strength and flexibility.

This could lead to:
• Safer, lighter body armor
• Stronger surgical sutures
• Next‑gen artificial ligaments
• Ultra‑durable fabrics

TVS is creating history in the Indian Automobile sector!

While Indian motorcycles have always had good presence in the lower end and mid capacity segment, we never had any performance high capacity options.

Royal Enfield has been minting money with its mid capacity segment and has successfully created a global market and established itself, but they never ventured into the performance segment.

Hero and Bajaj didn't even try, though they are worlds biggest manufactures.

TVS has tried to jump ahead, but this is a difficult market to crack, Norton has a strong legacy brand image but the new designs are a total pivot from its iconic models, will TVS be able to crack this market, only time will tell, but I am amazed that they even got this far, and I wish them success!

Cost of using AI in work will now cost more than an employee salary, so choose your models wisely. I use the cheapest model like GPT nano for 99.9% of my work. Switch to expensive models like Opus only when the cheapest ones don't work as you expect.

AI is just a pattern engine, it's not real intelligence but made to feel like it to impress us. Companies think they can get 24/7 work done with autonomous bots doing the coding without an "intelligent" human review.

Not just this, AI agents are dumping 1000s of lines of poorly designed code everyday that works today, but in a year, IT systems will have so much badly designed code that no one will be able to solve and they will crash or become unmaintainable.

In AI Coding tool, Cursor, I got an alert that latest Anthropic model Opus was being given at 50% discount, I did some work on it, a day later, Cursor sent API invoice for 20$, I think I am better off coding by hand :')

Now imagine how much money these companies are making with almost everyone jumping on to use the most expensive models 😱
