The Computer Society of Anna University is the largest technical student body of Anna University, with a current membership of over 2000. We conduct a number of events throughout the year, that not only serve as a challenging platform for students to exhibit their talents but also provide an opportunity to volunteers to enhance their managerial skills and handle situations with responsibility. The

undergraduate and postgraduate members of the society span all the three colleges on the University's Main Campus- CEG, AC TECH and SAP.

BACK WITH A BANG

Hola, The COMPUTER SOCIETY OF ANNA UNIVERSITY (CSAU) is back in a new dimension, and from now on aliased as the "ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CLUB (AIRD-CEG)"

The Club's agenda would be to focus on the theoretical and practical aspects of AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, Data Mining, IoT and Robotics; and take up Projects in these domains.

The Club is now open for recruitment of all the first and second year students.

PS: No Prerequisite Required and Open to Students of All Departments.

What Exactly is CSAU and AIRD ? - "CSAU is one of the oldest existing official club of Anna University, and was formed so as to spread computer awareness among all students.

Now, as the industry has come a long way, the club is to be aliased as AIRD (Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Club) to change the orientation of the club towards AI"
