All you need know is elementry concepts of C or C++ or JAVA or c # and win a huge prize money. Description of event:
Rounds (with duration):-There are four rounds:
• First round: Just logic (20 minutes)
• Second round: Mind the next (1 hours)
• Third round: Game of powerplay (1.5 hours)
• Final round: Hangover or game over (1 hours)
I.Just logic
This is an elimination round. No knowledge of prog
ramming language is required. Two types of problem will be given:
A) A set of 15 questions will be given. More than one answer can be possible of each question. One correct answer will be given in a cross-word. You have to mark correct answer that is NOT in cross-word. B) 10 real world problems will be given. For each problem three algorithms will be given. You have to find the correct algorithm. Top 50 participants will qualify for next round. II.Mind the next:
This is a treasure hunt round coagulated with basic programing problem. Each participant will be given a programing code whose output will give you the hint to next location where you will get next problem. You have to reach on fifth level like this. Top 20 participants will qualify for next round. III.Game Of Power-play
There are three power-play in this round:
Power-play I (35 minutes): You have to solve a real-world problem in any language(c, c++ and java) but cannot compile the program. When you are confident on your solution call the moderator, that time will be noted and your program will be compiled and executed. If ex*****on is successful and solution is correct then you will get point as follows:
Your point= (35-minutes you take to solve the problem)*4;
Powerplay II (20 minutes): This powerplay is same as former; only difference is maximum time and allotted point. Point= (20-minutes you took to solve the problem)*3;
Powerplay III (15 minutes): Only exclusive thing in this powerplay is, you can compile and run your program. Point= (15-minut you take to solve the problem)*2;
Top 10 participants will go to final round. IV.Hangover or game over:
Each participant will be given a set of 5 poor solutions (badly coded programs) with errors. Find the error, compile and execute it. For each program 10 point is allocated for this.
2. Make the program short and efficient. Point= number of reduced semicolon+3*reduced variables;
Bonus round: Apart from this there will be a set of 20 questions (5 point each). Question will be shown one by one. All participants will give the answer at the same time. After giving 5th incorrect answer participant will be out of game and he will not get chance to give the answer of rest of questions. Participant with maximum point will be the winner.
• Total Duration:- 3 hours
