What is a Mesh WiFi and will it help you?
In mesh wifi network, all the Access Points do not need to be 'wired' to the main router. They use the wireless links to remain connected to each other and thus create a "mesh".
Apart from saving up on wiring hassle, it also provides AP redundancy.
The actual scenario though in which it benefits is very limited. Primary reason is that wireless links are not very reliable.
If you are looking to use it in Co-Working office to improve the internet scenario, this won't help much. Best is to wire-up all the access point, one time cost and effort.
If you are deploying wifi in a large campus and your goal is to ensure basic connectivity everywhere without laying out lot of cables then mesh wifi would be worth a look.
