Recently, aiSophist moved from product readiness into real classroom validation.

This is an important step for us, because AI in education needs to be tested where it really matters: with real teachers, real rubrics, real assignments, and real classroom constraints.

Our approach is simple: AI should not replace teacher judgment.

Instead, aiSophist helps teachers by surfacing rubric-aligned evidence, suggesting draft feedback, and supporting a clearer, more structured assessment workflow.

The teacher remains the final decision-maker — always.

We are learning a lot from pilot use, and our focus is on building assessment technology that is useful, transparent, and trustworthy for schools and institutions.

Teacher-controlled.
Rubric-aligned.
Built for trust.

AI can help teachers save time and give better feedback.

But assessment should not become a black box.
The teacher still needs to understand the student, the context, and the final decision.

For us at aiSophist, this is simple:
Teacher control is not a feature. It is a principle.

AI assists. Teachers decide.

AI can help teachers save time, but assessment should not become a black box.

The goal is not to replace teacher judgment.
The goal is to give teachers better evidence, clearer feedback, and stronger support so they can make better decisions.

That is one of our core principles at aiSophist: AI assists. Teachers decide.

Better feedback. Stronger outcomes.

As a teacher, I have learned that the grade is only the final signal.

The real assessment work is in understanding the evidence behind that grade: the student’s reasoning, the rubric alignment, the gaps, and the feedback that can actually help the student improve.

That is also why we are building aiSophist around a teacher-first principle:

AI should not replace professional judgement.

It should help make the evidence more visible, the feedback more useful, and the assessment process more transparent.

Teachers need to remain the professional decision-makers in the classroom. They need to feel confident in leading AI use.

When AI is used well, it can support teachers with planning, differentiation, feedback, assessment, and everyday administration.

A good place to start is with an AI workload:
👉 What takes too much time?
👉 What repeats too often?
👉 What could be improved?

That is where AI can help first.

But AI output should always be treated as a draft, not a final answer. Lesson plans, rubrics, feedback, emails, worksheets, and explanations still require teacher judgment, context, and adherence to professional standards.

AI can save time, but only when we give it clear context: the class, the level, the learning goals, the assessment criteria, and the needs of the students.

Most importantly, teachers should not outsource their standards. AI can suggest, support, and structure - but teachers must review, adjust, and own the final decision.

At aiSophist, this is central to how we think about AI in education:
👉 AI should strengthen learning, not shortcut it.
👉 AI should support teachers, not replace them.
👉 AI can assist teachers in leading.

We’d love to hear from teachers and school leaders:
What do you think teachers need to know before using AI in school?
