Most international companies I work with treat internet connectivity as an afterthought when setting up their Israel office. Lease signed, furniture ordered, "we'll get a business internet plan." Done.

The problem is, every connection goes down eventually. The question is what happens when it does.

Without failover, here's what plays out: someone notices the internet is out, calls IT, IT calls the ISP, the ISP says a technician can come Thursday. Your whole Israel office is sitting offline for hours (or days).

With proper failover, the primary line drops, a backup kicks in within seconds, your team keeps working, and I'm already on the phone with the ISP sorting it out.

That's it. A second connection from a different provider or on a different technology (fiber plus cellular works well) that switches over automatically. Nobody has to do anything.
