Scooters 😑 Thoughts?

This is one my favourite spreads from my last picture book, The Lost Treasure of Clew Bay, published by 🐑 I remember witnessing exactly this scene one day as a child, standing on Roonagh Pier looking out towards Clare Island - the farmers were carting their flock from the island to the mainland, and literally throwing them from the boat to the pier. It always stuck with me, it was an hilarious scene 😄 I'll have to wait to dig that photo out of the archives when I'm home next, so here's the next best thing 👉

I'm working away on a new animal alphabet - as much as I love to write stories, I'm also very keen to get in on some non-fiction projects! I'm including some of my fabulous sketch work, which may only make sense to my eyes. Watch this space 🐠

I don't often post my sketchbook pages, they're not 'pretty'. A sketchbook to me is a place to pour out ideas, scribble, to not worry about making beautiful illustrations. That being said, I came across these recently - this was my first ever picture book idea, a cute little story about a panda who loses his glasses 😄 It never came to fruition, I think the process became more about learning how to write stories and create characters. But... it may yet? What do you think, should I revisit this one? 🤔 Comment your thoughts below!

This was my first self-written and illustrated picture book, 'The Lost Treasure of Clew Bay', published by in 2025. I'm really happy to say that I'm now officialy working on the next one, should be hitting the shelves early next year! 🎨

This was my most recent illustration for NY Mag's diet series, this time featuring the burger man himself, 🍔 I therefore made sure to load up this one with as many burgers as possible. Unfortunately, I found out too late that one of his favourite beers is actually Guinness. I may have to do an updated version ☘️

I recently had the pleasure of working together with the Dublin, the and the in creating a series of illustrations for their upcoming performance of 'The Magical Harp of the Dagda'. The performance is based on the story of the Dadga, old old Irish folklore, with music by the wonderful and , with text by the one and only 🪉Can't wait to see the performance later this year!

I think this was one of my favourite illustrations I did for 's Grub Street Diet series! As always, hand-painted and then pieced together in Photoshop. This one is featuring from SNL - the brief is to create a colourful, wacky, silly scene featuring Sarah and surrounded by her favourite foods. Always fun to do these!
