Hi. Just a heads up. There is a serious WordPress security flaw doing the rounds at the moment. Every one of our WordPress sites have been attacked in the last few days but we have all of them secured and have put measures in place to prevent any breaches.

We have updated every WordPress site we manage to the latest patched version of WordPress. We are also monitoring our firewall to ensure that is it activtly blocking these attack attempts.

This is exactly why you should sign up for our WordPress care plan. Attacks like the one above hit unmaintained websites the worst and you are at risk of your website being taken over completely.

🚀 Just launched: cceboston.org — a fully custom build 🎻

Our latest project is live: a complete ground-up rebuild for Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann Boston, keeping Irish traditional music alive in Boston since 1975.

No templates. No page builders. No off-the-shelf WordPress.

🛠️ A custom-built admin panel — designed around how the branch actually works. The committee edits pages in place, manages events, uploads photos and reviews class registrations from one clean dashboard we built specifically for them. No plugins, no clutter, nothing they don't need.

💳 Custom payment and registration flows — music school registration, memberships, donations, event tickets and scholarship applications, each with its own tailored workflow, PayPal integration, automatic receipts and a built-in record of every transaction. All coded by us, end to end.

🔄 A proper engineering migration — two ageing WordPress sites consolidated into one. We wrote custom tooling to extract and rebuild their Hall of Fame archive — nearly 50 biographies of the musicians who shaped Irish music in New England — and even recovered two inductees whose pages had been lost for years. Every old URL from both sites redirects precisely to its new home, so a decade of Google rankings transfers intact.

If you are ever unsure whether an email is genuinely from me, just ring me directly. I would much rather take a two minute phone call than see anyone caught out.
