Sneem Enterprise Centre is currently exploring a number of employment creation initiatives for the area and is working with organisations including IDA Ireland to explore opportunities. There are a number of companies nationally actively seeking skilled individuals in areas such as Customer Services, multilingual skills, IT Technical Support, Software Development and Finance. One opportunity which

companies are increasingly considering is employing "work from home" candidates who may not be based where the company has their offices. Sneem Enterprise Centre is actively compiling a database of skills in the Sneem area which could be of interest to such companies who offer homeworking opportunities and/or other employment opportunities locally. We are building a database of skills in areas such as Customer Service, IT skills and technical support, Finance, etc.

Sneem has great quality of life to offer, whether for families who wish to raise their children in a safe clean environment or for people who want to live in a small vibrant community, in one of the most beautiful areas in the world.

Sneem Enterprise Centre is trying to create opportunities to bring employment to Sneem in order to give people the chance to live here and in doing so keeping the existing community alive and kicking.

We are working with the IDA and a number of very well know international companies to create employment in Sneem. Our aim is to help potential employers recognise the real benefits to their business of having employees achieve work life balance.

It is early in the project but this is a real opportunity for people and it is critical at this stage that we get as many people as possible to express an interest in living and working in Sneem. In particular, if your skills are in IT, Customer Service or European Languages, we want to hear from you. We would also like to hear from others who may not have these skills but would like to express an interest in living and working in Sneem.
