Sneem Enterprise Centre is currently exploring a number of employment creation initiatives for the area and is working with organisations including IDA Ireland to explore opportunities. There are a number of companies nationally actively seeking skilled individuals in areas such as Customer Services, multilingual skills, IT Technical Support, Software Development and Finance. One opportunity which companies are increasingly considering is employing "work from home" candidates who may not be based where the company has their offices. Sneem Enterprise Centre is actively compiling a database of skills in the Sneem area which could be of interest to such companies who offer homeworking opportunities and/or other employment opportunities locally. We are building a database of skills in areas such as Customer Service, IT skills and technical support, Finance, etc.
