I haven’t posted anything new for months, but I am still quietly working away in the studio and tending the crops - new stuff coming soon:)))

Lately, my thoughts (coming entirely from a position of huge privilege) have been constantly with all the families who have lost loved ones, and the thousands of people displaced by needless and reckless war.

I made this illustration a little while back, and it felt right to share it now. Inspired by the ancient, shared story of Jonah, it serves as a gentle reminder that even in the absolute deepest darkness, hope and deliverance are possible. Sending my quiet solidarity and thoughts to everyone across the region enduring the unimaginable right now ❤️❤️❤️

TREE OF LIFE

Illustrations for international cookware brand for a Día de los Mu***os themed dinnerware collection.

Although I’m presenting this for the first time in 2026, the artwork was created back in 2020. Unfortunately the timing of the project proved fatal. The project developed in the usual manner and over a period of several months it became a collection of plates, dishes and cup designs - I was super excited and the client was happy:)) Then came COVID! As it was a seasonal design, lockdowns meant it missed its window to go into production, so making onto the shelf for the Fall 2021 was impossible, but there was still a chance of making 2022. Unfortunately, with restrictions continuing into 2021 and a backlog of projects in the pipeline, the client ultimately decided not to go ahead. I had so hoped it would have been resurrected but sadly it’s now very much dead and buried :((( However, I was very pleased with how it turned out and I still believe in life after death :)
