Introducing the latest commercial radar from Furuno the FAR-1518. Its a new budget black-box model, introduced in April 2016, that is type-approved when installed with an approved monitor.
It is intended as a replacement for the very popular FR-1510 or FAR-2115 series radars which are installed on many boats throughout Ireland. Installation is very straightforward as the existing antenna cable and antenna pedestal may be reused in most cases, making installation simple, fast and with minimal mess - no welder required and the ceiling stays up!
