OUT NOW: The blood of the Dawnwalker
A pretty decent open-world adventure with only a few flaws which doesn't hinder at all the brilliant story of the game! Gameplay wise also one of the best in open-world Action-RPG category.
I actually like the time-management part as well, since it is not as restrictive as it may sounds first but give a bit more weight and thrill for our decisions in this RPG.
The dark-fantasy settings perhaps remind us (and the Eastern-European, + Slavic type folklore music and LORE) to The Witcher 3 which ofc. not a big surprise as the core dev team of this game also used to work on The Witcher games. But apart from it, this game absolutely has it's own ideas so actually it's like comparing apple to orange the 2 games, so not much point of that. Both franchise are top level in Action-RPG genre, tho. So, I really hope the Dawnwalker will get it's own trilogy in the future or even more, so we can have in the future as a fully-fledged franchise.
I can only recommend this gem, pretty much the for me in this year. :)
In the top 3 I also have this year the GOTHIC I Remake, plus the upcoming Dragon's Dogma II Story-DLC in a nutshell.
