MALVERN, Pennsylvania, USA, and SHANGHAI, China - April 22, 2026 - Recently, Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE ticker symbol: VSH) announced the launch of 16 FRED Pt ultra-fast recovery rectifiers. These devices feature the latest thin-profile DFN6546A package and are equipped with side pads that facilitate soldering. These 200 V devices support rated currents ranging from 6 A to 15 A and offer commercial and automotive grade versions compliant with AEC-Q101 standards, providing space-saving and high-efficiency solutions for commercial, industrial, and automotive applications. As the latest packaging form of Vishay's Power DFN series, DFN6546A adopts a compact 6.5 mm x 4.6 mm package size with a typical thickness of only 0.88 mm. Therefore, the rectifiers recently released by Vishay can utilize PCB space more efficiently. At the same time, these devices feature an optimized copper substrate design and advanced chip layout technology, ensuring excellent heat dissipation performance, thereby supporting operation at higher rated currents. Compared to 200 V devices of the same size with SMPC (TO-277A) packaging, these rectifiers have a thickness reduction of 10% and a rated current increase of 50%
