You can spread a piece by a specified opening value using the Segment Angle tool.
1. Select the part you want to spread.
2. Select the Segment Angle tool.
3. Hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (MacOS).
4. Click the point where you want the piece to spread.
5. A dialog box will open. Enter the desired value in Opening Value.
6. The selected part will be spread by the specified opening value

You can adjust the segment angle by adding the desired opening value.
1. Select the segment you want to adjust.
2. Select Segment Angle tool.
3. Click the point you want to keep as the fixed start point.
4. A dialog box will open. Enter the desired value in Opening Value.
5. The segment will rotate to apply the new opening value while keeping the selected start point fixed.

The Join and Split tool allows users to join two shapes together into one piece.

1. Select the two segments that you want to join together.
2. Select the Join and Split tool.
3. Click the fixed point on the first shape, then click the fixed point on the second shape.
4. Hold down Shift while joining to keep the joining segment between the two parts. If Shift is not held, the joining segment will be removed.
5. The two shapes will be joined together as one piece.

Note: This tool works with contour lines only.
