We’ve passed our project goal of 10,000 cups saved from landfill at L’OCCITANE Group Hotel event in Pacific Place 🌎💪🏼🥳.
…and there’s still 3 more days to go!!

A big thanks to the team at L’Occitane who have proactively switched from disposability to reusability through our ch00ze Event cups and real time impact tracking system.

Ch00ze.club is Circular City’s zero waste coffee cup network. What started as a proof of concept pilot in 2021 with Uncle Russ Coffee, Hemingway's DB and Plastic Free Seas as CHOOSE:REUSE, has now transformed into ch00ze.club, a network of over 30 conscious coffee shop outlets that want to offer their customers a waste free option for takeout, with sponsorship by Greenpeace 綠色和平 - 香港網站 for 5hkd off each borrowed cup.

Solution? Or still very much pollution?
While this demonstrates a good attempt to reduce excess materials (polystyrene lids), and may be a (kind of) solution in the short term, the ultimate goal is to make reuse and return systems as innovative, enjoyable and convenient as single use to achieve real zero waste.

There you have it! We’ve hit the 1000 borrowed cups mark, right before the official end of our pilot! 💪🏼🌏😎 …and we promise we didn’t bump the last few numbers up! By the time of posting, we’re actually at 1017 cups 😊.
