The Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau and Fondation de France Asia are pleased to invite you to step into the storied world of the Manufactures nationales as we host an exclusive evening 🍸 at the historic Villa Haw Par.

Led by Loïc Turpin (Director of Les Manufactures Nationales), the evening will explore major creations, renovations, and commissions realised by artisans, often in collaboration with world-renowned artists and designers.

Set against the heritage backdrop of one of Hong Kong’s most iconic sites, join us to discover the secret history of the Gobelins and Sèvres manufactories—legendary workshops founded by Louis XIV that have defined global luxury since the 17th century.

今年的愚人節，榮獲英國🇬🇧科學傳意者大獎 Josh Award的 David Price👨🏼‍🔬將在裘槎科學周展示科學是如何無處不在，我們一起用繩結學習數學，透過舞步了解蜜蜂的溝通方式，坐在氣球上感受北極熊如何在極地生存。齊來測試自己的身體感知能力——蒙眼辨識物件你做得到嗎？

更多有趣的科學小挑戰等着你，今個愚人節在科學館約定你！

This April Fools’ Day, David Price👨🏼‍🔬, who earned a UK national 🇬🇧Josh Award for his pioneering work in science busking, will show you how science is everywhere. Tie yourself in knots for maths. Dance to learn how honeybees communicate. Sit on balloons to explore how polar bears survive in the Arctic. Test your body awareness (proprioception) – can you find things with your eyes closed?

No registration is required – just come and join in the fun!

【 】要看經典畫作《睡蓮》，不用飛巴黎，即將在香港免費欣賞到！法國印象派大師莫奈的經典傳世名作《睡蓮》真跡，將於下個月正式登陸香港，並將免費向公眾展出。

莫奈在生命的最後階段，對睡蓮的癡迷程度超乎想像。從 1890 年代末期到他 1926 年過世為止，莫奈幾乎足不出戶，整天待在池塘邊作畫。在這近 30 年（尤其是生命最後的 20 年）裡，他總共創作了約 250 幅 以睡蓮為主題的油畫。他曾說過：「除了繪畫和園藝，我一無是處。」可見他對這片池塘的執念。

千萬不要錯過，面對莫奈筆下那片靜謐的睡蓮池的難得機會。

這款由法國設計師Stéphane Humbert-Basset操刀的郵票，以凹版印刷呈現了他筆下童趣的插畫，畫中Baguette綁上法國國旗配色的精緻緞帶，周邊有隨性的手寫字輕快飛舞。郵票裡還藏了個驚喜！只要用手指輕輕摩擦郵票表面，就會聞到淡淡的麵包香味，好像真的把一根法棍寄給遠在他鄉的思念之人。
