Feeling very grateful……….

Twelve months ago we officially launched BTKA Designs, which translates to “Born To Kick A** Designs”. We were on a mission to promote sustainable fashion, spread positivity, good vibes, and motivation through our designs.

As we all know, adversity is inevitable in life, however difficulties or misfortunes do not prevent you from achieving your intended goals, and finding the happiness you seek. How you overcome these adversities will help shape the person you become.

We hope our designs inspire you to keep going, put a smile on your face, or to stand up for what you believe in.

For us, these past twelve months have brought about a rollercoaster of emotions (both personal and business), what a journey it has been.

To those who have supported us, believe in sustainable fashion, and those who inspire us, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Did you know..…..

We have yet to develop the technology that is able to separate clothing made from blended fibres/mixed materials e.g. 80% organic cotton and 20% polyester.

Clothing that is made with one material can therefore be recycled.

Around 20% of clothing is recycled, reused, or repurposed, and huge amounts of fashion products end up as waste in landfills, or is incinerated.

At BTKA Designs, our designs are made to be remade. When you purchase a BTKA Designs t-shirt, sweater or hoodie, instead of discarding it once it is worn out - you simply mail it back to us and we are able to recycle your worn out BTKA Designs garment into a new t-shirt, sweater or even a hoodie - thus creating a sustainable cycle. In doing so, we will give you £5 credit for your next order.

Last but not least, every order is shipped in a plastic free packaging. We use a rip and splash-proof mailer bag that’s made out of paper - no plastic is used.

Water conservation is import for us all, and the environment 🌍

As the world’s population keeps growing, our demand for water rises. As every individual depends on water for their livelihood, we must learn how to keep our limited supply of water pure and away from pollution.

Water conservation is more important than ever, and the world is looking for tips on saving water. With a few simple changes, you too can reduce your water footprint.

Below are a few tips for saving water around the home:

1. You flush an average of 20 gallons of water a day down the toilet. If you don’t have a high-efficiency toilet, try filling your toilet water tank with something that will displace some of that water, such as a brick.
2. Defrost frozen food in the fridge instead of running frozen food under hot water from the faucet.
3. Turn off the water when not in use. Teach your household to turn off the faucet while brushing their teeth or shaving. Every little bit of water conservation helps.
4. Install a low-flow shower head. This can save 15 gallons of water during a 10 minute shower.
5. When considering buying a new washing machine, front loading machines generally use less water.
