🔐 October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month!
Most of us ignore our digital safety. We click random sketchy links, accept every cookie, and then wonder why an ad just popped up about something we were thinking about 😅
Truth is, we leave digital footprints everywhere we go.
And if we’re not careful, our sensitive data can be stolen or misused.
So here are 4 ways to stay safe online:
1️⃣ Use strong passwords.
If it’s super easy for you to remember, it’s probably easy for someone to guess. Most of your personal accounts are linked to your email, so if that gets hacked… everything else could follow.
2️⃣ Turn on Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
One of the best ways to protect your accounts. It’s like a second lock — even if someone guesses your password, they can’t get in without the code.
3️⃣ Use a Password Manager.
No excuses anymore 😅. Password managers can generate and store strong, unique passwords for all your accounts safely.
4️⃣ Don’t click suspicious links.
If it looks sketchy, it probably is. From “You’ve won 500 cedis!” to “Share to 10 groups to claim your reward,” these are classic traps.
Stay alert. Stay safe. Stay smart. 💡
Your data is worth protecting.
