The first thing you need to do if you're planning to give a presentation or write a technical article is to pick a topic. It might seem like a tough task β what's left to talk about when everything's been discussed online? How do you turn your work experiences into something worth reading or presenting? Who would even find it interesting? That's why we hosted the "In Search of a Topic" workshop. Our speaker was Svetlana Iurchenko, Sr Communications Specialist at JettyCloud. During the workshop, participants learned what to focus on when hunting for a topic and came up with potential ideas for talks and articles in real-time.
One of the workshop participants, Vasily, a Delivery Engineer, shared his impressions:
βI found the general principles of article preparation and the steps for choosing a relevant topic particularly appealing at the meeting. It was an engaging and interactive session. Understanding how to select a topic better was a significant achievement for me! Big thanks to Svetlana and everyone involved.β
Kirill, a Senior Software Engineer, also shared his thoughts:
"It was an interesting workshop, offering a fresh perspective on finding topics in what might seem mundane. It provided a valuable exercise in finding inspiration from daily articles, work, and news!"
