Easter hols photo dump to remind myself that f i n a l l y the holidays felt somewhat manageable this time around.

Now that my littlest is a bit older and more independent, it brought a sense of spaciousness to our days, and having both kids solo didn’t feel quite so overwhelming.

The more I take time for myself, the more I notice my sensitivities and the parts of parenting I find challenging. It helps me ask for support and take little grounding moments so I’m not stuck in my head so much (hello, overthinker!).

Highlights:
🌞 Lovely sunshine
🌱 Playing outside on the street
🎺 A surprise mini concert from the lone trumpeter outside our house
🌙 Full moon magic
🌸 Our yearly family photo under the blossom
🎨 River play and creativity
🐣 Watching the Pace Egg play

How were your holidays? What did you enjoy—and what did you find hard?

Today I actually did all the things I’ve been wanting to do for agesssss!

I didn’t let housework take over my whole child-free day — which, let’s be honest, it often does. Having a clear space really helps my creative flow… but more often than not, I end up too knackered from tidying to actually make anything!

This morning, while getting the kids ready, I had a flurry of ideas about The Embodied Cycles Collection and the printed guide and journal I’ve created — so I followed the spark and took some lovely photos to share with you all.

After that, I painted some little watercolour quotes as a warm-up, then started a daily visual journal spread (still to be finished!). I used a larger sheet of watercolour paper and quickly realised I didn’t have enough time to fill it — but it felt so good to begin.

I also managed to fit in a workout and a deliciously grounding relaxation meditation with my yoga bolster — which never fails to help me settle and fully sink in.

And to top it all off, the day ended with ice creams at Grandma’s and playing in the sun with the family for our Friday get-together. Bliss.
