Taking for granted - so after a period of lockdown as if that wasn’t bad enough we hope that the things we use daily will work seamlessly. So my motorcycle wasn’t used for a while and I knew the battery would have to be charged up before using it. So please remember that most of today’s electronic equipment has a battery somewhere - touchscreen - scales - computers. If your turning all your equipment on - wait a while for all the equipment to settle down before turning the touchscreens on as a big mains spike caused by fridges - coolers and cookers can cause problems on the more sensitive equipment. When the system is on - do a backup of the data so you can go back to it - should the need arise.

New opening rules - the EPoS software using the customer module can achieve capturing names and addresses - also table management - some software uses a web order and asks tables other ways are using a handheld tablet to take orders which are beamed directly back to the EPoS system.

Just to let our customers know that we are open - taking orders in the morning and shipping scales - till rolls - till drawers - scanners - terminals. Please call in the morning to place orders before mid day. - obviously we are on a skeleton staff level - we very much appreciate this is a peculiar time for everyone. The couriers are also on skeleton staff so parcels are being delayed briefly but are arriving.

Great weekend learning about new labelling software - runs on an optimus with a back office and label printers - prints labels with allergen information and does "farm to fork" traceability with a system generated batch number. link a digi 782 to it and it can also interface with the epos system - change a price on the epos system and the label program can grab the new price and auto update the software. can print on blank labels and print a logo or use pre printed lables for packages and curved ones for jars. email [email protected] for more information
