A recent flurry of card sales. There must be something in the warm air. It's always lovely to send a card, even with stamps now costing twelvety-hundred pounds.
Here's a small selection...

1. Cornish Chough – bright, distinct pattern featuring the extremely acrobatic Cornish Chough, known for its tumbling display flights.

2. Scots Rose – inspired by the West Highland Railway in Scotland, on which The Jacobite Steam Train crosses over the Glenfinnan Viaduct.

3. Cyanide – one of the poisonous plant collection inspired by Agatha Christie

In an aim to move towards more natural and recycled fabrics, duchess satin will no longer be available to order by the metre. Fat quarters (approx. 66.5 x 49cm) will be dropping in the Etsy shop and when they’re gone, they’re gone!

DIGITALIS (foxglove) pattern inspired by Agatha Christie’s use of deadly plant-derived poisons.

Reminiscing... In 2019, unbeknown to our children, we recreated a classic scene from the film Trainspotting. Today, the one on the far right is the tallest and the hair on the second in from the right is at least twice the size and would block out the view. Apparently, I am half an inch shorter these days (second in from left).

Coming soon... CORNISH CHOUGH and LYREBIRD in square luxury textured card format.⁠

These two designs were originally in A6 size and the first patterned cards I had printed. It's rather rude of me to have taken this long for them to join the others on the premium embossed paper. ⁠

CORNISH CHOUGH was designed for my Cornish mother and LYREBIRD for my Australian mother-in-law. These cards will be on the website and Etsy very soon.

My eldest son wants to paint his room black.
This request has swirled me back to the 80s when
my best friend's brother had his room painted black
and white. He was a Ska fan, it was the two-tone
days of The Specials, Madness and The Selector. It
was also the time of ballet pumps*, Harrington
jackets and blue eyeliner.

Maybe I can persuade my son to have MORPHEUS
wallpaper in his room as it's nearly black?
No, I didn't think so either. Nice try though, right?

*Apparently ballet flats are back big-time. I shan't be donning them ever again. I slipped over in mine and took the skin off a knee
