Today is World Donkey Day. Who knew? 🫏

Apparently Alex, our Development Director did, as he rocked up this morning in this fetching donkey outfit (we didn’t ask why he had it 😳).

In recognition of his efforts and in celebration of our four-hooved friends, we will be donating to a donkey Sanctuary.

World Donkey Day celebrates the vital contributions of donkeys to agriculture, transportation, and communities worldwide. And, with Cleethorpes beach only down the road, it seems doubly fitting to acknowledge the iconic role our beach donkeys have in the British seaside experience.

That's exactly where AutoLux started.

The concept was smart: dealership-standard car body and paint repairs, without the dealership price tag. We built everything from scratch - name, identity, trademark, website, signage, vehicle livery, photography, and launch campaigns across Meta and Google.

A second branch followed in Scunthorpe. A third is on its way to Grimsby. AutoLux now have a proven playbook and a strong brand foundation to build on.

Payroll software isn't exactly known for exciting branding.

When Luna Software came to us, they had something genuinely new - a complete, connected SaaS ecosystem for payroll professionals. Nothing like it existed in the sector. But the challenge wasn't just building a brand, it was launching one fast enough to debut at the CIPP ACE conference.

We had weeks, not months.

The result? A full brand, website, animated exhibition stand, and the "Lunaverse" - a concept that used space as an analogy to explain a modular software suite in a way that people actually got.

The stand stopped people in their tracks. The conversations that followed confirmed real appetite for the product.

When Big Red came to us, they had a thriving store in Cleethorpes but no digital presence. They thought they needed a full e-commerce site. Every other agency quoted exactly that.

We visited the store, understood the business, and gave them an honest answer - that wasn't the right move. Not yet.

Instead, we built a future-ready website that showcases the store's personality, includes a virtual 360° walkthrough, and has a smart loyalty-style offer system integrated with their till. The kind of stuff that actually drives footfall and repeat business.

When the time's right, the e-commerce foundations are already there.

It started with a beer.

Our friends at Docks Beers were partnering with Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance on a fundraising collaboration - a commemorative pale ale to mark LNAA's 30th anniversary. They brought us in to create the label design, and Kirk got to work.

The result was Helihopter. A design built around the moment the LNAA team are called into action, with their "By Your Side" message woven right into the artwork.

One beer label turned into something much bigger - lottery campaigns, Christmas campaigns, and a sponsored walking challenge. Proof that good creative work, done for the right reasons, can go a long way.
