As we come to the close of another year, we want to take a moment to say a very sincere thank you.

2024/2025 have marked the greatest financial success in Voove’s 17 year history. That is something we are immensely proud of, but more importantly, it is something we could not have achieved without the loyalty, trust, and support of our team, our customers, and our partners.

‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the shop,
Not a customer was stirring; the tills had gone “pop.”
The routers were stacked on the shelves with great care,
In hopes that our engineers soon would be there.

Angus, the boss, with his plans and his schemes,
Had visions of broadband and Wi-Fi in dreams.
Ann in the shop, with her key-cutting knack,
Made sure every lock had the right fitting back.

When out on the roads, there arose such a clatter,
It was Steve, Dave, and Kevin, all fixing what mattered.
From satellite dishes to laptops and phones,
They worked through the weather, in wind and in zones.

Another day, another Starlink. Back on Isle of Lewis this week, with a flurry of Starlink and 4G installs. So many still must wait years for fibre and are not eligible for the Scottish Broadband Voucher.

We only use Starlink Approved Brackets and fixings, what else would you expect from approved installers.

The team are working out on the East Coast again this week. Being involved in this £1.8bn project is both challenging and exhilarating. Our responsibility has been to ensure mission-critical connectivity for all onshore staff and offshore construction vessels, supporting over 150 workers.

Voove have been directly commissioned to deliver this service as the primary contractor responsible for the installation and management of the connectivity. We also amalgamate several third-party systems and services both onshore and offshore.

A service interruption is simply unacceptable. To that end, numerous fail-safes have been established. One such solution is “Rueval”, an SDWAN tool conceived and created in Uist that uniquely combines multiple internet connections. It doesn't merely merge these connections but also guarantees uninterrupted service, even if one link fails.

This current project adds to our roster of over 120 managed sites across the UK & Ireland.

Our expanding site portfolio spans various sectors, from renewables and construction to defence research and major events.

Each new endeavour leads us to refine our strategy. Just as no two sites are identical, no two solutions are either. Our impartial methodology ensures we can always find a solution.

"Why Voove?" is a question we frequently encounter locally.

Voove was founded in 2008. Its objective was to continue the services its founding director, Angus, had provided for many years beforehand. During the mid-1990s, he designed solutions to connect multiple users to a single dial-up internet connection. Crafted and implemented data solutions for major B2B events in Beijing and São Paulo, and set up, safeguarded, and installed online gaming systems in Costa Rica. By 2007, we had established and overseen office systems in Bristol, Sydney, and New York, and had decommissioned legacy manufacturing mainframe systems, upgrading them to integrated ERP services.

This varied experience has moulded Voove into what it is today. We recognise that no one solution suits every situation. We aspire to maintain our mission and adapt to future challenges.

Our pride stems from the fact that all this is now managed from a small island (Benbecula) off the west coast of Scotland, in the same office where we also cut keys.
