Silly season has arrived early!

We're seeing attempted thefts on our customers' machinery almost daily, and we've never known activity quite like it.

Yes, our customer base has grown considerably year on year, but even allowing for that, the level of activity we're seeing is concerning.

These aren't all opportunists either. Some of the technical knowledge we're coming across is approaching professional auto-electrician standards. They know what they're doing, and they're better equipped than ever.

To all our customers, please stay vigilant.

No immobiliser is unbeatable, including ours. They're extremely difficult to bypass, but given enough time, a determined professional thief can find a way.

That's exactly why we believe in layered protection.

An immobiliser on its own isn't enough. Neither is a tracker. The immobiliser buys valuable time, while the tracker gives you the opportunity to respond before that time runs out.

But only if you take those alerts seriously!

A long, soggy day in Swindon today! 🌧️

A digger and a dumper were today's patients, both tucked away in the tent in an attempt to keep dry!

Both machines have now received our full layered anti-theft protection.

Who needs a sales team when you've got customers like ours?

This keeps happening, and every time it does, I still find it a little surreal.

I put my heart and soul into P&MT. As I write this, I'm sat in a hotel in Swindon, away from my family and ready for another day's work tomorrow.

A new customer today in the stunning surroundings of the Gloucestershire countryside.

Jones Countryside Service’s contacted us to secure their Protech Evo post knocker.

They’d been offered a tracker through the dealer. They’d seen trackers cable tied into machines and videos of people walking the streets trying to recover stolen plant using outdated technology.

Instead, they listened to recommendations from within the plant hire and fencing industries and came to P&MT.

There are trackers, and then there are trackers.

There are installations, and then there are installations.

We showed Ben where his tracker was installed and he still couldn’t see it. That’s exactly how it should be.

We might not offer free trackers or make videos chasing stolen machinery.
