Do you have a single remote control for all your devices? Does it work for most but not all things?

Flirc can help. It is a tiny USB dongle and an ingenious solution to the problem of linking IR-based remotes and control systems to non-IR/IR-less devices (like the Amazon Fire TV, Nvidia Shield TV or a media centre system like a Raspberry Pi running Kodi/XBMC/Plex) which only feature Bluetooth remotes or they are optimised for keymaps that map onto a keyboard (like Kodi/XBMC and Windows Media Center).
