A little look back at some of the logos I’ve designed over the last five years - 24 different branding solutions!

From equestrian and IT businesses, accountants and tutors, organic food makers/growers, to dentists, woodturners, veterinarians, and everything in between.

Each one was designed from scratch, with the business and its audience in mind. No templates. No AI. Just thoughtful, bespoke design.

A little look at a recent identity project for an author who came to me to create an identity for her new pen name, 'Ella Verso', which needed to feel distinct from her existing author identity.

The creative exploration took me into some wonderfully weird territory: fantasy, escapism, monsters, magic, multiverses, and the idea of crossing between different realities.

The final direction was inspired by the idea of two worlds meeting and overlapping, creating something that felt magical, mysterious and a little otherworldly.

And this was rather lovely to receive at the end of the process!

IS PRINT DEAD? I don't think so...

In a world of screens, scrolling and endless digital content, there’s something more captivating about a piece of design you can actually pick up.

You can feel the paper, see the colour properly, notice the finish, turn the pages and spend time with it. Well-designed and expertly produced print can bring a brand something digital can't quite replicate: a physical presence.

So, call me old school… but I still LOVE print.

I have absolutely no explanation for this...except something inside me said: “I need to make this!”

So excited to see the branding and interior design I created for Fuddled Escape Rooms coming to life!

From the initial concept and creative direction through to the finished visual identity, this was such a fun project to develop, creating a playful, colourful brand that feels immersive, exciting and, of course, confusingly amusing!

Here are a few pages from the final, signed-off brand guidelines, showing the logo suite, brand thinking, colour palette and graphic patterns that came together to create the Fuddled identity.

It's always a lovely feeling to see ideas move from the screen into the real world, and even better when there's a whole physical space for the brand to inhabit!

A logo created for Apple County Cycles that combines a hand-drawn illustration with distressed typography to reflect the independent, down-to-earth nature of the business.

Branding isn't about making everything look polished; it's about creating something that feels authentic to the people behind it.

Alongside the branding, I designed and built the shopify website to give Apple County Cycles a clearer online presence, making it easier for customers to find bikes, services, and information.

Design isn't just about appearance; it's about helping people navigate confidently.
