Using the same app framework from my previous post, I reworked it into something that could be used as a live workplace wallboard system.
This version was designed for a print lab environment, where teams can track production stats, monitor progress throughout the day, and view live team performance on a shared display.
One feature I particularly enjoyed building was the “Build + Grow” section in the bottom right. Instead of focusing purely on competition, I wanted to encourage teamwork and shared goals. As more work gets completed, the visual scene evolves through multiple stages, giving the team something to build towards together.
The system also includes separate Admin and Manager views for monitoring app health, managing data, and exporting spreadsheets when needed.
What’s been interesting about these recent projects is seeing how one core framework can be adapted into completely different applications depending on the use case. Last week it was a game client concept, this week it became a live operations dashboard.
I’ve been building these systems using technologies like Tauri, Supabase, Render, and private Git workflows to create lightweight desktop apps with live data syncing, user roles, and remote update support. 🧠
