New Era Radio Telescope (NERT).
Installed near New Era University (NEU) Rizal Branch at Pinugay, Rizal Province East of Manila. Surrounded by hills that serve as a natural cover from artificial radio sources. At present, NEU is the first and only university in the country to own and operate a professional radio telescope to be used in its Astronomy Program. It remains committed to help improve Astronomy Education and Space Science in the Philippines. In the picture are the workers who installed the radio telescope, Prof. Jeffrey Alloy Abanto, the head of NEU Department of Atmospheric and Space Sciences and Prof. Joey Red, the Director of NEU Rizal Branch.
