The Fulfilled Picture

From mini sketch to final piece, what do you think of these little guys?

I often get too “in my head” when it comes to a blank page. I’ll spend ages looking through Pinterest with both love and decision fatigue! Start with an idea and get lost in the “ohh that’s nice” and “that’s cool” and scroll for endless time absorbing inspo like a sponge.

The result? Immediate empty page.
Long term? A brain full of ideas, I don’t know where to start 😂

Long story short, this little flower was my morning challenge - just draw something off the fly. Tap into all those hours of scrolling and JUST DRAW.

So, what do you think? Should this stay as a morning doodle or explore it more?

New piece finished! No name yet, but it was so much fun jumping from a random character study to setting our little frog into a scene. Give this little frog some love and a name in the comments! 🐸

I feel like photos sometimes get lots on the camera roll. Beautiful moments captured and forgotten in between pictures of the dog, some wallpaper you liked, a random thing for work and some brownies you baked that were not a disaster.

This is a sketch I started after hearing about some friends wild camping weekend in the Lakes. The weather was amazing, the views incredible, homemade brownies and custard for dinner. All this needs is a spot of colour to bring to life.

Is this something you’d cherish in a journal or hang on the wall? Something to colour in mindfully or enjoy full of colour and memories? Comment your thoughts bellow and share your memories! I would love to create more of these moments 🌄

What is the solution to waking up early, restless and mind running 100mph? Draw and explore some frogs of course! 🐸 This page has no purpose, just the intention to find something that resonates a little bit, brings a little drop of joy before I start the day job. Does anyone do morning pages? Drawing, journalling, how do you start your day?

I did a big scary thing and invested in myself, and tried something new! 🥹 I tried these alcohol markers from and the more I use them, the more techniques I seem to unlock and enjoy. I love how they blend the vibrancy of tone. Have any of you tried these pens? What do you think? Any tips?
