Bringing a brand to life beyond the logo

The Phipps came to me through a past client, with their branding already in place. My job was to take that identity and roll it out across the things they needed, from menus and social graphics for launch to their website.

For the website, I sourced imagery ahead of the venue’s photoshoot to help bring the vision to life from the get-go. The aim was to create something fun, exciting and full of personality, while making sure it was still easy to navigate and find everything you need.

Because a brand needs to work everywhere, not just look good on its own. And making sure it all feels connected, consistent and unmistakably them is what it’s all about.

A brand that tells a story

The Actor's Lounge captures the essence of autumn with its rich design steeped in meaning and history. From the imperfect circle representing their core values to its seamless application across signage, apparel, and online, this brand is a masterpiece of intentional creativity. The founder's vision and love for the 'enso circle' inspired a bold, recognisable identity that feels uniquely theirs.

I love a brand with meaning, and finding that is part of the journey I take my clients on when discovering their identity. Bringing it all to life across the different touchpoints is just the fun bit.

Oh baby, these autumn hues are exactly the inspiration I need at the moment. 🍂

As an autumn baby (but a summer girl at heart), my favourite thing about these months is the beautiful colours that appear everywhere! From the deep reds of the leaves turning to the eerie blues of the mist over an early morning view, I literally love it all.

If you’ve got 47 ideas for your brand but absolutely no idea how to pull them together, then we need to talk.

You know your business, hopefully really bloody well. You know what you like, what you don’t like, how you want people to feel, the sort of clients you want to work with and where you want the business to go. You just can’t turn all of that into a brand by yourself.

And that’s especially true when you’ve been in business for a few years and things have changed a LOT since you started. Maybe you threw something together in Canva because that was all you could afford at the time. It did the job. It got you started. But your business has grown and your branding, well it hasn’t.

You don’t necessarily need someone to come in and tell you what your brand should be. You need someone to actually listen to all the stuff that’s already in your head, ask the right questions, challenge you when needed and somehow make sense of it all.

Until you see it and think...F**K YEAH. That’s it.
That’s the bit I love.

If you’ve been around here for a while, you might recognise this one…But I’m bringing it back because I’ve decided it’s time to show off more of the brands I’ve created behind the scenes.

Over the next few weeks, I’m going to be sharing some of the bold, fun and personality-filled brands I’ve created - some you might have seen before, and some that are new.

First up, this beauty.
A bold and playful brand identity, packed with colour, custom patterns and a really versatile logo system that gives the brand loads of flexibility. And of course, all of that was carried through into the website too.

Because this is the kind of branding I love creating - strategic enough to have purpose, but never so serious that we forget to have a bit of fun with it.

So yes, you may have seen this one before. But I’ve done a LOT of work since I started Beka Bright, and I reckon it’s about time I showed you some more of it. 😏
