Arduino for Visual Studio

Arduino for Visual Studio Arduino for Microsoft Visual Studio. Same code and config as the Arduino IDE. Faster builds, improved debug experience ++

Team Visual Micro has been providing Arduino development for Visual Studio for 10+ years. We created the unique serial debugger but Visual Micro also supports hardware debugging. Our tools also provide the unique ability to optionally use Arduino board package and library versions per solution. This is important when different embedded programs were designed for different board or library versions

. It avoids refactoring and enables a Visual Studio solution folder (.sln) to be pushed to source control that contains everything needed to rebuild the exact same code at any future time. This extends the capabilities provided by the Arduino IDE but working with 100% compatible code.

The best prototype isn't always the best product.

Fast prototypes are designed to prove an idea.

Commercial products are built to be maintained, extended and supported for years.

As your embedded project evolves, your development workflow should evolve too.

Visual Micro helps engineering teams stay productive inside Visual Studio from prototype through to production.
