We know we say cybercriminals are getting more sophisticated every other week.. But it's true. Calendar-based phishing attacks are projected to increase by around 33,000% from May to September this year.

The sneaky thing is that they can easily bypass Google's email security features and get this threat in front of you not once, but twice. Once in your email inbox, and once in your calendar. No, it wasn't ransomware. Nor was it malware. It was phishing attempts.

According to GOV.UK, phishing scams remain the most common IT issue we encounter, and for those without email threat protection, they are getting harder to recognise.
