🇪🇺✈️ Important changes at European borders!
As of April 10, 2026, the EU Entry/Exit System (EES) is fully operational across all Schengen Area countries.
What does this mean for non-EU/Schengen travellers?
🔹 No more passport stamps – traditional passport stamping has been replaced by a modern digital registration system.
🔹 Biometric data collection – during your first border crossing, the system will record your fingerprints and facial image.
🔹 Automated stay tracking – EES automatically calculates the time spent in the Schengen Area (maximum 90 days within any 180-day period) and instantly detects overstays.
