Summary of the Position:
MAPTEC IT is a dynamic, Managed Service and Cyber Security Provider. Growing strength to strength since 2017. We are looking for I.T. Engineer looking to grow with us as we increase our client portfolio. Its opportunity for the selected candidate to work from 1st to 3rd line roles and explore other areas of I.T. from Cyber Security, to VoIP, to I.T. Essential Skills and Experience:
• A car, insurance, and Full U.K. Driving licence.
• Minimum of 3-6 Years’ experience.
• Reliable, good time keeping and highly organised.
• On-site visits to clients.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Provide desktop and server support.
• Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops.
• Install authorised software to laptops and desktops.
• Install and maintain anti-virus in all desktops and laptops.
• Fault-finding to laptops, desktops, and core servers.
Responsibilities:
• Discipline to be on time in the office or to our value clients.
• Enthusiastic about providing telephone and remote user support including VIP support.
• Telephone support for hardware and device issues.
• Resolving I.T. helpdesk tickets.
• Must have excellent end user support skills and telephone manner.
• A desire to do things correctly and a strong eye for detail and documentation
• Report faults and maintaining logs on servers, desktops, and laptops.
• Maintain exchange server mailbox, including archiving mailboxes.
• Set up new users and disable/redirect expired accounts.
• Collaborate with Third party vendors to diagnose, reproduce, and resolve technical problems.
• Set-up and configure desktops, laptops, printers, IP and landlines phones, VPN accounts and other network related devices.
• Microsoft/Office 365 and Active Directory administration skills.
• Microsoft Azure Cloud, Active Directory.
• Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Autopilot
• Microsoft SharePoint
• Acronis Backup
• Datto Backup
• TeamViewer and Screen connect use.

Salary: £23,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
