VIRGIN MEDIA, NTLWORLD OR BLUEYONDER EMAIL? PLEASE READ
Virgin Media has announced an important change to its email service which will affect customers using:
🔹 .com
🔹 .co.uk
🔹 .net
🔹 .com
Virgin Media is transferring the management of these email accounts to Junara, a specialist email provider owned by Atmail.
If you have one of these email addresses, you will be contacted directly and will need to decide whether you want to:
1️⃣ Keep your existing email address by moving it to Junara
2️⃣ Download and back up your emails and move to another email provider
3️⃣ Close the email account
⚠️ ⚠️ PLEASE DON'T IGNORE THE EMAIL FROM VIRGIN MEDIA ⚠️ ⚠️
You will have at least 45 days from receiving your first notification to make your decision. Virgin Media is contacting customers in phases, so not everyone will receive their notification at the same time.
There is an additional 120-day recovery period, but if no action is taken during the full 165-day period, Virgin Media says the email account will eventually be permanently deleted.
PLEASE ALSO BE AWARE OF SCAMS !!!!!!!!
Virgin Media says its notification emails about this change will not contain clickable sign-up links. Instead, customers will be directed to the official Virgin Media website.
So if you receive an unexpected email asking you to click a link, enter your password or provide payment details, be cautious.
