There is always time to scrub up on keyboard shortcut knowledge 💡

When working on your word documents, if you click the control key (CTRL) and the Z key, you can quickly undo that little mistake like it never even happened. Simple as that 👍🏼

October = Cyber Security Awareness Month 🔐

Passwords are the keys to your online data. By creating strong, unique passwords, you keep that data and information safe from cyber threats. Here is some tips from us:

1) Make it complex: Using a range of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. (Try and avoid using your favourite child's birthday! 🫣)

2) Longer is stronger: Passwords should ideally be 12 characters or longer!

3) Make it unique: Every account should have a different password. Do not reuse passwords for multiple accounts.

4) Use a password manager: Try using a secure password manager to safely store your passwords. (Most new apple products have this built in already)

5) Be aware of Phishing: Never share your passwords via email, phone or unsecured websites. Legitimate organisations will not ask for passwords via email!

I’m very excited to have been asked by the WI to talk tonight about being an autistic for their neurodiversity celebration week alongside Welsh rugby player Brogan Evans and Sarah Murphy Minister for Mental Health and Wellbeing!

NFWI-Wales will be hosting an online event on 17 March, from 7pm - 8.15pm, to mark Neurodiversity Celebration Week. During the event, neurodivergent women will be sharing their lived experiences. It will be an opportunity to champion neurodiversity and celebrate the differences and unique strengths....

As disability pride month comes to a close I wanted to talk about a disability I have that is very closely linked to my autism but that I don't often talk about, auditory processing disorder 👂

Auditory processing disorder (APD) is a sensory disability that causes me to have difficulty understanding sounds, for me this is usually spoken words.
APD makes it difficult for me to understand:
👂 people speaking in noisy places
👂 people with strong accents or fast talkers
👂 similar sounding words
👂 spoken instructions

Some of my frequent customers may have noticed I far prefer emails and messages over phone calls and this is one of the reasons why!
